It’s hot outside, which means everyone is wearing less clothes, thus exposing more skin! So what do you do if you didn’t plan ahead 1 day and unfortunately got too much?

Check out these natural sunburn remedies from the Naturemomsblog!

* Take a cool shower, air dry a bit and then rub coconut oil on the burned areas to seal in moisture.

* Hydrate with lots of water and fresh juices and use cool compresses.

* Mix a couple drops of Lavender essential oil with plain yogurt and rub on the affected area.

* Apply cool cucumber slices.

* Apply cooled chamomile tea compresses.

* Mix together Aloe Vera, coconut oil, and Vitamin E oil and rub on skin.

* Mix Aloe Vera with about 10 drops of peppermint oil and use a spray bottle to apply to skin.

Hopefully, we won’t need these remedies too much, but keep them close just in case!

In all of Heather’s jewelry she uses 100% recycled sterling silver and 14k gold.  When an artist takes the time to help the environment it becomes contagious.  Heather has an amazing staff  (read all about them) that “is dedicated to doing their part to help preserve the Earth’s natural resources”.  Boho Mag
